ABOUT imc

background

International Masters Cricket (IMC) was officially established at an AGM on 6 August, 2023, which included members from all 14 member nations. The AGM brought the over-60s and over-70s into the fold, meaning that IMC now covers all four age groups.

Prior to that, IMC had existed as the de facto governing body for international over-40s and over-50s cricket since 2018.

In May of 2023, the 14 member countries had voted overwhelmingly for a new model based on the 4 age groups. Each age group has a sub-committee comprising all the nations that play in that age group. From that sub-committee, a chairman and two age-group representatives were elected at the AGM. The age-group chairmen, plus the overall IMC chairman, form the IMC Executive Committee.

This structure is shown in graphical form below. The four age-group committees are also shown below.

IMC is a not-for-profit incorporated association, registered in New South Wales, Australia.

Masters cricket is growing rapidly around the world. We are actively seeking sponsorship partners to join us in this exciting journey. There are some amazing opportunities to get in on “the ground floor”.
