Fazal Alam will lead the MCUSA O50 team to England, where the team will compete in the Marlborough Cup against England, Wales, and India. ![]()
Fazal previously served as vice-captain of the squad during their tour to Sri Lanka for the IMC O 50-2025 World Cup. He delivered a strong performance in Sri Lanka, consistently providing aggressive starts for his team throughout the World Cup.![]()

Fazal led his North Zone team to the Zonal Championship in 2023 and to the final in 2024. He has been a key member of the MCUSA O50 Squad for the past four years. His outstanding performance in the 2023 WC earned him a spot on the World X1. Additionally, Fazal has made significant contributions to MCUSA's growth and brand off-field, securing several sponsorship deals and playing a crucial role in organizing and conducting MCUSA O50 events.![]()

Raj Badadre, Vice Captain of the MCUSA O50 Squad to England, is an all-rounder who bowls off-spin and can bat anywhere in the order. Raj has been an integral part of MCUSA since its inception and has led the West Zone teams in Nationals and Zonal Championships over the past few years. He boasts a stellar record as an off-spin bowler and a capable batsman. Raj's classical high-arm action and ability to turn the ball make him a valuable asset. As a batsman, he possesses a pure technique and consistently scores runs when the team needs them most. Raj delivered a strong performance during the tour to Sri Lanka, where he was one of the key bowlers in the recently concluded O50 WC. Raj brings rich experience in leadership, both on and off the field.![]()

Australia have beaten New Zealand in a high-scoring final at the inaugural international Over-55s series in Queensland. ![]()

Australia amassed 353/6 (the 6th-highest score in all IMC matches), with both openers (John Mensforth and Paul Ryan) scoring 80s and then Clint Keble smashing 73* from 42. NZ Captain Scott McHardy took 3/64.![]()

New Zealand had chased down targets of 294 and 315 already in this series, so they would not have been daunted by the massive target. Martin Pike played beautifully again en route to his second successive century (102 from 98 balls). Pike became only the second player (after Wales Over 50s Cricket' Ali Bukhari) to score 100s in his first two IMC matches.![]()

McHardy hit 59 and Scott Pender 66 but the asking rate was just too high and NZ fell 62 runs short. Richard Saniga took 3/55 for the Aussies.![]()

The home team posted a massive score of 293/2 from their 45 overs. Paul Ryan and Matthew Drain put on an enormous partnership of 224 for the second wicket, with Ryan blasting 147 (129 balls, 6 sixes) and Drain hitting 103* (99 balls, 7 sixes).![]()

The Kiwis set about the chase diligently, with NZ Over-60s captain Craig Gibb hitting 81 and Martin Pike crafting an excellent 109 from 121 balls. Those two added 174 for the first wicket before skipper Scott McHardy came in and hammered 78 not out from 51 balls, with 6 big dingers to guide New Zealand home in their massive chase.![]()

It was certainly a day for the batters, with 587 runs scored for just 5 wickets, but a great start to a new age group.![]()

Veterans Cricket Australia Over 40's have won the first ever IMC T20 tournament, claiming victory in the Over 40s World Series Cup after rain washed out the afternoon final against New Zealand.![]()

In the morning game, New Zealand did beat the Aussies on DLS. Steve Hobson's 74 from 50 balls set up NZ's total of 161/8 and Australia were 72/4 when the rain set in.![]()

Australia were still top of the table based on NRR and were therefore crowned champions, backing up their win in the 45-over tournament held earlier in tMasters Cricket USAweek.![]()

USA beat Canada on DLS in their morning game. Canada managed 140/6, led again by Royston Crandon (50 from 29 balls) and USA were 73/2 when the game was called off.![]()
